Greensboro, NC - February 24, 2009 - Efird Sutphin Pearce & Associates, PA announced today that principal architect Charles Pearce, AIA has obtained LEED AP Accreditation. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which is administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), distinguishes building professionals such as architects with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process.
Charles graduated from the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 1983. He has been a principal at ESP&A for three years. As a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) he has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Green Building Rating System.
